  1. The Milwaukee Crimminal Offenses report is available through the Open Records
  2. Dept. located at 749 W. State, room 304. There is a minimnal charge for xerox
  3. copies. Also, the map is available with all zones. Since I was limited to a
  4. hand scanner, the map which is 8.5 by 14 had to be done in sections. I put
  5. this together using 123 Version 2. It will, I believe, work with AsEasyAs but
  6. I haven't tried it. Included is the program PICEM.EXE for viewing the map. For
  7. those of you involved with security functions, you should find this useful.
  8. Also available, you can get a monthly break down throughout the year to monitor
  9. the crime peak periods and what they are. The Census Tract however is an annual
  10. occurrence and is usually ready sometime in late January to early February.
  11. It only covers the City of Milwaukee. Suburbs will have their own departments
  12. for obtaining information under the Freedom of Information Act.
